3D—Lingo Football Player

This is a prototype of a football player. It was built in Plasma and scripted in Director. Notice how the arms will rotate seperately from the rest of the body. I plan to animate this football player then duplicate him appropriately. Once I have a full team I will stick them in a stadium. Then I can make the arms rotate towards the football once it came into a certain distance. This would give the appearance of catching the ball. I was experimenting with Lingo to see how it controls 3D objects. All the animation done here will be through Lingo. 3D objects built in Lightwave, Maya, and 3DMax can be exported as Shockwave and controlled with 3D Lingo. If you don't know Lingo very well take a look at the library pallette. It has many behaviors with all the Lingo already scripted in their icons. Just drag these icons onto sprites and see what you can come up with.
